Angle acquires in Andover
Angle Property has exchanged contracts to acquire Charlton Place in Andover
Charlton Place is a substantial office campus of circa 192,000 sq ft set within 17 acres of mature landscaping originally constructed in the late 1980’s. The campus lies adjacent to the town centre with the High Street, local amenities and train station all within a 10 minute walk. The site has an extensive boundary to the Anton River, an attractive chalk stream tributary of the Test River together with established woodland and landscaped boundary.
Angle Property believe the site is very well suited to residential development given its sustainable location and will commence positive engagement with local stakeholders prior to any planning application.
This is the 6th purchase by the Angle Opportunity Fund and we are actively seeking similar opportunities.
James Good, Director of Angle Property: “Charlton Place is a fantastic acquisition for Angle Property and reflects our positive approach to unlocking development potential on redundant buildings and sites in good locations. We will bring forward a sensitive, design led residential scheme with greater public access to an attractive site and help deliver new homes in the right location.”
Many thanks to Haslams and Hill Dickinson for acting for the buyer and to CBRE and Eversheds Sutherland acting for the seller.
