Angle secures industrial planning consent in Arborfield
Angle Property is pleased to announce it has secured outline planning consent for a new B8/Class E(g) warehouse and light industrial development of up to 6,986 m2 / 75,200 sq ft. The consent allows for up to 11 units on the 6 acre site and is a 5 minute drive from Junction 11 of the M4 Motorway at Reading.
The site was previously farmland and recently used as the site compound during construction of the new Arborfield Relief Road known as Observer Way which provides excellent access to Wokingham and Reading.
Angle signed a promotion agreement with the Farley Farms Partnership in April 2022 and submitted the application in October 2022. The planning consent ensures a high quality development is delivered with the highest level of sustainable construction and will provide a flexible mix of units to suit a wide range of occupiers.
James Good, director of Angle Property said:
“We are very pleased to have secured a flexible planning consent in such a relatively short timeframe on a greenfield, unallocated site. The site had previously been identified as a potential employment site and we worked proactively with Wokingham Borough Council throughout the planning process. The benefits of creating modern accommodation to support growing businesses and create employment opportunities are clear and we continue to seek similar opportunities”.
