Angle Property hits key planning milestone at Headley Court

Angle Property is delighted to announce the success of their Headley Court project. Headley Court is the former MOD Rehabilitation Hospital that closed on 2018 and comprises former hospital buildings and a listed Mansion House set 80 acres in Surrey near Leatherhead. The two redevelopment phases both now have planning consent, the West Site which will provide 70 new homes was approved at Planning Appeal in September 2022 and a sale completed to Vistry Homes in January 2023 at £17m. The Mansion Site phase was approved at Mole Valley Planning Committee in February 2023 and will provide a 114-retirement village to be delivered by Audley.

Tony Williamson at Angle Property commented, “Headley Court has been an amazing project to be involved in and has created many interesting challenges, not least through the pandemic. During the pandemic we are proud to have worked with the NHS to recommission the former hospital buildings to assist in the provision of care. The planning consents now in place will allow a very fitting regeneration of Headley Court and provide a quality legacy.”
