Angle have recently developed 36 new apartments and three retail units at their site on Sycamore Road Amersham. Regent Place is centrally located in the heart of the historic market town, offering access to a host of local amenities with the added convenience of excellent transport links and local shops.
Angle have sold one of the three retail units at 67 Sycamore Road, Amersham last week, for £875,000 to a private investor – reflecting a 7.5% net initial yield. The unit was let to Gatsby & Millar Limited for 15 years at £70,000pa from November 2018.
This followed the sale of the adjoining Boots Opticians unit (69 Sycamore Road) in December 2019 for £830,000 reflecting a 6.5% net initial yield and the last unit let to Fat Face Limited unit (71 Sycamore Road) is currently under offer.
With the retail market facing a turbulent time and with many references to the retail market being ‘dead’, sales such as this could suggest the very opposite, if the right units are in the right location.
