Angle Property secures planning consent in Andover
Angle Property has launched the sale of Charlton Place in Andover after securing outline planning permission for up to 130 new homes in Andover town-centre.
The 6.44 hectare (16 acre) site was acquired in October 2024, with Angle submitting an outline planning application in January 2025 for the full redevelopment of the existing buildings and creation of up to 130 new residential homes.
The property comprises an unoccupied former Lloyds office and training facility totalling 192,000 sq ft, set within a mature landscaped setting with extensive frontage to the River Anton. The outline consent for up to 130 homes, comprises a mix of one and two-bedroom flats, together with two, three and four-bedroom houses with on-site greenspace and improved access throughout the site. There is no requirement to provide affordable housing at this stage.
James Good, Director at Angle Property commented: “Being within easy walking distance of the town centre and the train station with direct trains to London Waterloo, this site offers all the benefits of a new sustainable development on a previously developed town centre site.”
Haslams of Reading are dealing with the sale of the property.
