Angle submits planning for 130 new homes in Andover
Angle Property have submitted an outline application to Test Valley Borough Council, for 130 new homes in Charlton Place, Andover. This follows Angle’s purchase of the site in October last year and an extensive pre-application consultation period.
This redundant 192,000 sq ft office campus is located on 17 acres of land adjacent to Andover town centre. This is a sustainable brownfield site, which can deliver much needed homes, and is set in an attractive position next to the River Anton, a chalk stream tributary of the River Test.
James Good commented “On Andover we have had very positive pre-app discussions with Test Valley Borough Council and the scheme has been shaped by the mature landscaping and river setting. It will hopefully be one of the most attractive new developments in the area providing a good mix of apartments and houses suitable for local needs combined with the very rare quality of being within walking distance of everything you need in including shops, train station, schools and supermarkets.”
Montagu Evans advised Angle Property on planning.
